We missed the boat this year on feeding protien, every time we were ready to fill feeders we had monsoons, it looks like springtime at our place now. I guess we will get all the feeders going soon and probably put the antler max out up until they stop eating it around late October, hope we do not have too much of a set back, we had been feeding protien basically year round for 3 years, anyone else fall off the protien wagon this year ?

we picked up our protien feeding this year (normally April - August) we started in Jan. The deer REALLY slowed down on it from March - June, but they are HAMMERING it now. -
Same here. Our deer slowed down for a while in early spring but are hammering it now. We have had tons of rain in the past few weeks though. actually too muddy to get into feeders. Have to wait until it dries up a bit. Rained again last night! Made for a great 4th of July though with no fires! Blasted away all night!Comment
