Where to find used camper shell?

I'd appreciate some help. Since TBH-ers come up with solutions to almost any problem, I'd like to hear what you think. A hunting buddy is looking for a used camper shell for his Dodge Dakota Quad Cab and is not having any luck. Maybe the unusual size of the box (64" x 67") makes this a rare item, but he would rather find a used one than to pay full price for something new that will see very limited use. Most of the time it will be stored at his home. So, the question is, what sources are there in Central Texas for used camper shells?

His best source is probably to just keep watching craigslist till he finds what he wants. He can go to "Auto Parts" and search camper shells. A lot of sellers don't list the actual dimensions so he will probably have to e-mail questions to a lot of them till he finally finds the right one.

I ran into this same problem for my F-150. I was able to finally find one at a truck accessory shop that was new, but had suffered cosmetic damage for $400.

I have a "topper" for a Dodge Dakota, if that is what he wants. I'm in Plainview, Tx and the thing is in perfect shape except for a little paint fade (red original color). Let me know if this would work and I'm sure we can work something out.
