    Let her walk. From the looks of her a couple of weeks ago she should be ready to drop anytime now. You may get two fawns out of her this year.

        If the doe was truly valuable to this guy, he'll come looking for it, in which case id be honest that you've seen a tagged deer running around your property. Still not much of a chance of capturing the animal regardless.

        If he doesnt ask.... what he dont know wont hurt him!!

          Even though he has 10 days to capture this deer, that doesn't necessarily mean he can come onto your property to capture her. If it was on his property, he has 10 days to catch her and put her back in the breeder pen. After that, regardless of where she is, she is a wild deer. Deer in a high fence (not a breeder pen) are still considered wild deer and are not the property of the landowner. Deer in a breeder pen fall under different rules, until they escape the breeder pen.
