No oil in the big easy ponch is the same old muddy hole it was before and the Miss. River has got continuess flow and wont allow the oil to make there. At least there was none there before I came out to the rig three weeks ago. Fourchon, Venice and the bay side of Boothville have oil.

Lake Pontchartrain is the cleanest it's ever been thanks to the "Save Our Lake" campaign 25 yrs ago

within the last 3 yrs, the 2nd (11.99 lbs) and 3rd (11.24 lbs) largest speckled trout ever caught in Louisiana were taken from L. Pontchartrain

Chandeleurs Islands, Grand Isle, and other Marsh areas are screwed right now

go to Drago's , ACME , and other oyster / seafood restaurants as the LA. seafood is still good to eat. Certain areas are still open for fishing and the restaurants really need your support

                  paintman

if you have the time (2-3 hrs) , drive thru the Lakeview and Lower 9th ward areas during the daylight hours

you have no clue about Katrina and the flooding until you see the aftermath and destruction . the entire city was underwater (from 2' to 20' ) for over a month

nearly all houses that haven't been bulldozed yet still have the orange X's from the search and rescue. Lots of utility poles and bldgs still have the water lines from wher the water crested
