Question ? If the HOT rules says (9 point @ 120" min & 10 point @ 125" min) then why are most of the trophy pics of 8 pointers ?

I've been once and used a pop up. Anyone been and used a homemade ground blind, like a cattle panel blind? Thanks

I see some exotic pictures mixed in, but the website only mentions the fine for killing an axis doe. Where are the prices listed for bucks other than whitetail or are they not letting you shoot them right now?

The axis buck picture is me , it is a great place to hunt with really good people . You can buy a chance at an axis the day before the hunt . Last year it was $200. You cant shoot one then pay the $200.

Heart of texas gives you the option...........you can pay 150 extra, and that allows you to shoot one axis doe, and one axis buck over 25 inches with no kill fee............however, if you opt out of the $150 extra, and an axis buck walks out and you take him, then its $1500.......and i think 350 or 400 for a doe............I have always seen axis, they are just alot more cautious about coming in that the whitetails..........Kevin will tell you if you are hunting a pasture that is known for alot of axis..............
