Roasted Corn??

Does anyone used roasted corn in their feeder? I have never heard of using it until a neighboring hunter told us about it. Is he trying to trick us into pushing our deer to his feeder or was he being a good neighbor? He history has me wondering? Any input?

I like roasted corn on my tacos. But I don't think it would be suitable for a feeder!

We run a mix in our feeders of corn and roasted SOYBEANS with Antlermax Rainsield, but I don't know what roasted corn would do. The roasted soybeans put out more aroma I don't care for the smell of POP CORN maybe deer do.If your neighbor does this then do something totally different to draw them to your bowstand. JMO, GOOD LUCK! }}}------>

You sure he wasn't talking about Horn Corn? It's a mixture of corn and roasted soybeans. Never heard of anyone using roasted corn.

Whitetailfinatic, when we were trying to get rid of some hogs in the bottom, we would go by the gas stations that sold the popcorn and get all of there left overs for a couple of days. When we got ready to hunt we spread that stuff out instead of corn and the hogs woudl tear it up. We saw a few deer eating it, but it was hard for the deer to get in there cause the hogs woule come in pretty quick after we dumped it out. It was the best thing we found to bring the hogs in.

Never heard of roasted corn but I do mix 50 corn and 50 roasted soy bean in my feeders.
