    lake somerville vs. rain

    anyone lake somerville who tell me about the lake levels with all this rain. I have a spot booked at Rocky creek for july 9 and 10 but not sure if we are going to be able to camp? any info would be appreciated.

    I haven't been over to the lake but it rained hard today in College Station. Someone else can probably give you better info. Hope it works out!

      Not sure about the Lake level, but Birch Creek area received 3" rain since last night. Report came from my parents who live approx 6 miles from the park.

        Jun 30, 2010 Water murky; 81 degrees; 0.08' high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are fair trolling slab spoons near the dam. White bass are fair trolling slab spoons near the dam. Crappie are fair on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are fair on punchbait, and on juglines baited with cut shad. Yellow catfish are slow.
