What to do with old ammunition?

I have bunch of 16 Ga shotgun shells (Reloads) that I need to get rid of.

If it is popular caliber ammo, reloaders on this site can disassemble it and at least use the brass to work up new loads. PM me what you have and I can dispose of it for you.

every time I want to get rid of ammo i think of the road warrior where he's looking for a single shell for his gun.

I keep it never know when the zombies will show up. plus old shotgun shells go to my brother in law the mooch.

I've been collecting old shells for a while now. I even have a few that my grandfather had when he was young. They are live rounds but will never be shot. There are many collectors out there for older stuff, including the boxes/packaging they came in. Paper hull shotgun shells are always wanted some where if they are in good condition .

In all honesty, unless the bullet is loose in the mouth, the case is split or punctured, primer missing or distorted it should be good. wipe it down and use it or give it to someone who can. I inspect this stuff for a living, so as long as it was stored indoors in its own box, it should be just fine.
