Ya know, I've been to Wimberley many uh time over the year and keep meaning to check out Jacob's Well but always get side tracked. I think we are headed that way later in July so I will definitely swing by and check out it out. Thanks for the background info on it Bob.

Yea, no kidding. I know of a few spring fed creeks (where I hunt arrowheads) that are beautiful for East Texas but don't hold a candle to the ones out in the hill country. Not even close.

Johnny: If we don't get any rain soon, the place you and go near Camp Wood and the other two or three little spots down there won't be too fun this summer... The other fella on our lease went a few weeks ago and it's not too much "flowage"....send all that rain to that part of the state for awhile...

The sad thing is, I don't see a big weather pattern change anytime soon! Trust me, I've been keeping a close eye on the extended models. They don't look good right now. I'm thinking La Nina will start to fade by the end of May and going into June. Let's hope so.

I haven't been to my favorite swimming hole since college. We used to sneak out to the Narrows on the Blanco after hitting up the Tap Room in San Marcos. Long walk but worth the effort. Blue Hole in Wimberley is my second favorite.
