    ATV sales

I was in Gander Mountain and noticed a sign saying Texas Law prohibits the sale of ATVs on Sunday. I did not know this was a law. Does it apply only to dealerships or individuals as well? Just curious.

I believe ATV's are considered motor vehicles due to them being titled vehicles. I used to work at a TSC that used to sell both ATV's and go-karts. We couldn't sell the ATV's on Sunday's, but we would always put the go-karts out. I also don't think, the State law requires it to be on Sundays, but rather requires the dealers to be closed one day per week. You see some dealers open on Sundays, but closed on Mondays. Also, this law is only a requirement for dealers and not private party sales.
