That picture is hard to tell but if he is in the Northern climate he will be bigger than you think as his spread on his ears could be 18-20".....One
picture cannot tell you all there is to know....how long is his beams, he could be thicker on the bases....
I will be the dumb one on here, but my first impression was that he is way past his prime. I had to look real hard at the picture to say he was 3.5 but he prob scored right around 120??
To start with...I would be guessing in the same range as ya'll without the inside information that I have.
I'm not doing this to elevate myself as some master "on the hoof" judge.
If I had not not handled this deer as a fawn, weighed him, tagged and tatooed him....I would find it impossible to believe from the first pic that he was born in June of 2005.
Pic above was taken in Jan 2007 making him 1.5 at the time.
What I think is fascinating, and what I want to demonstrate with the pic below is how different the same animal can look in two pics. See below:
my thought of the two pics is in the first one he has a doe with him and he is showing the stud pose pic two is taken it easy. great pics and lots of fun to see and hear diff thoughts good stuff.
