None,, let it grow up and buy a 500 or better. You will be a lot more happy with its performance.

Honda has always made a good bike. I have a 1989 xr 250 4 stroke motorcyle that stills fires up on the first kick. On the other hand, I own a Yamaha ATV. Why did I switch to Yamaha? Couldn't beat the price. When I bought my ATV 2 years ago it sure seemed like Honda was very proud of their ATV's and didn't have a very comparable price. Don't get me wrong, they are good bikes, but Yamaha has always made quality products as well. My advice would be to look at both, because you won't be dissappointed in either machine.

Sounds like something a salesman would say at the dealership. Actually, I used to think that also, until a buddy of mine bought a 400, 4x4. You'd be suprised how much power that thing seemed to have considering no problems going through mud, with 2 riders, carrying a 100lb hog in the front basket. Not to say that a larger ATV wouldn't handle it better, but some people act like a 400 cc 4-wheeler won't get you anywhere.

I took my stock Yamaha Big Bear 400cc 4x4 through just about everything the mub machines went through at one of those Mudfests(as long as I wasn't gonna submerg it, no snorkel) and had no problems. A 400 is an all around good ATV.

Even though I own a big bore I always thought it would be nice to own a SMALL 250 to just throw in the bed and be able to stack stuff around.

The lease I had last year in Delrio would have been perfect for a small bike to carry back & forth to the stand and haul a Deer & Pigs out. No mud bogs and other vehicles were available for real work.
Plus the smaller bikes might be quieter.
