    Looking for brave/adventurous souls...

Since my 800 ft. free climb up a cliff this past season, I have been thinking of doing some caveing... And our trip to Innerspace Caverns today sealed the deal for me.

I am looking for a group of folks that would be interested in a guided caveing trip.

This would be done there at Innerspace and is $100 for a 3.5 to 4 hour cave exploration. This isn't down the lighted path everyone else takes. This is flashlights,helmets,knee/elbow pads, climbing/crawling through the caves that the everyday visitor doesn't get to see.

I need 3-7 more folks that have a sense of adventure!!!!

We did this last year, it was AWESOME!! Theres so much more to the caverns, and even more that hasnt been explored yet. When we did it there were crews going into new areas to check stability and acces for everyone. Whoever does this is in for a treat, it was a great time.

bad thing there is I am guessing you have to be a certifed diver? In a guided cave tour all you have to do is be able to haul your own wieght up and down and through very tight places.

I'd be in depending on date. Also I think natural bridge does something like that. Is that the same as spunkling?

                True.
You do need to be certified but it's a crazy feeling and the blackest black you can imagine when you turn the lights out. I think I brought 50+ lights with me.
My wife loved it and I hung in there till the sign that read do not pass this sign and it had the count of the cave divers that had gone down the cave (because they were trained to cave dive) and died. i think it was two hundred something. It was spooky.
Thought you might like to read that if you like the caves.

                    For sure!!

I would actually like to get my dive cert. But for now, I will just have to stick to caveing where I don't need an air tank.

I am gonna try for the weekend of July 23, 24, and 25 (my next weekend off)..... I will have to make sure which day they run the tour. I will more than likely come and spend the weekend again.

Man, it sounds like fun, but I'm afraid this bubble I have in the middle might get me stuck! I might end up like that snake pic Ty posted the other day

That is something that I really, really want to do!! I'm just waiting for Hunter to get old enough to do some of those tours! Actually, she would have no problem completing it now, but most of them have an age limit. She climbed Guadalupe Peak at 8750 ft in 4 1/2 hours up and 3 down. I'm sure she could complete the cave thing. Y'all enjoy! I 'm WAY jealous!!
