Lowe's Camo OSB

I just recently saw a blind build that used this on the exterior. It looks good. I am curious from others who have used it how long it lasts and how well it stands up to the weather? Does the color fade quickly?

Paint is much more effective, and regular OSB is a few bucks cheaper per sheet without that on it. Not impressed at all with it, and I built 7 stands out of it for some ranch in west tx.

it will last less than a year. my uncle build a stand out of it and it fell apart b4 the next season.

The problems you have with OSB is people forget to cover the edges. Even if you primer and paint the edges, OSB will come apart after a short time. It is really not made for an outside exposure to the elements.

Looked at it last year and was not impressed, figured it would fade quick

built two with the stuff 4 years ago. Completely faded and removed 2 years ago.
Wrapped the outside with outdoor carpet at that point and it is holding up better than the camo osb. Once the frame was wrapped in the carpet, I could then cut the windows where and how I wanted. Just not able to close the windows. Have been thinking about coming up with something to use to cover them.

I built one last year that was under water more than one time. It still is holding up good. If I build another I would use tin to make it last for a while. I expect to get five years or less with the osb
