Who also has a little something on the side ??

Work wise , and what is it ? .... I work full time as a maintenance technician , and have a machine shop in my garage . I make prototype parts for a Minnesota company and pick up some small jobs locally in Round Rock . Just curious how many other people do work on the side .

I was doing some commercial and residential power washing but have slowed down to a crawl recently due to my full time job.

I work for a auto repair shop after hours. U.T. doesn't pay anywhere close to proper wages, and now we were told no raises for the next three years.

40-55 hours a week at my regular job. And I have 2 other paying part time jobs which take up 12-18 hours every weekend.

From time to time I pick up even more, but as I get older I cant do 80 hour weeks anymore.

Now Im cutting hay for fun on my 1 day off each week...

This is something I have been seriously considering lately for some supplemental income. I just can’t decide what would be profitable enough to justify taking more time away from the wife and kids. I need the money but hate to be away for a full time job and then something on the side as well. I'll be watching this thread for profitable ideas.

I don't do it for money per se.... but do metal engraving, and all of the leather
            stuff for charity....

TEX.... just find something you can do at the house.... there are tons of extra
income possibilities... the only thing I find, is most people don't have the patience
to get good enough at something to make money at it, and just give up...

I agree , even though I may be working I regularly have the wife and kids out in the garage talking or watching TV with me while I work. Makes it much easier.

Taxidermy on the side which I usually start at 9 at night after the wife and child go to bed. I mainly do it for a stress release outlet but the money is ok too.

I might put a few deer stands together to sell before gun season. I also buy and sell stuff every so often.

You just do the tech stuff out of your house? I have a Mathews that I am getting replacement limbs for and I need a new rest installed on another. I am in Waco once a week or so.

I do plastic welding on the side. I am the production manger at a company that cudstom builds plastic water and foam tanks for fire trucks, and we usually have folks come in wanting us to repair ag tanks and such. We can't really afford to take time out of out production schedule for repairs, so I bought a welder and do it on the side. Also do some light fabrication as well. It's not alot of work but it does make some extra "play money" every now and then. I can weld PP, PE, PVC, and ABS. I have welded ag tanks, plastic fuel tanks (Dodge and JD), ATV fenders, risers for pond dams, and even repaired a bass buggy that rats ate the drain plug out of.

Robert you scared me by the title of the thread, I opened it up expecting to see some pictures are something totally different.

I use to sell boats on the weekends then I went to a new contract and started to make good money and stopped selling boats. The company lost the contract had to take a big pay cut now I am looking for something to suplement my income.
