HBO: Final Episode - The Sopranos

Did anyone catch the final episode of the Soprano's tonight?

There is no way they are going to end the season/entire show with that episode are they?

Ending was a good set up for the movie. If this is truley the end then it sucks.

Fellas, what made it a "give away" was how the fella walked into the bathroom.

I can't think of what other movie/series it was, but there was another show where they hid a gun in the toilet under the lid and the guy went in the bathroom got the gun, and came out Guns Blazing....

        Goodfellas maybe?

Man that was a total letdown. I had many scenerios worked out and was left with this one. Oh well. I can see it turning to the big screen.
Paulie Walnuts was great in the final episode, funny as heck.

Whenever I watched the Sopranos, it was a horrible reminder of what it was like to grow up in New Jersey, and a reminder why I'm glad I left.

At least that's the one I'm thinking about....
Hey, listen, I want somebody good - and I mean very good - to plant that gun. I don't want my brother coming out of that toilet with just his **** in his hands, alright?
Sonny talking about planting the gun for Michael to use.

It was definitely not the ending I was expecting. There was nothing about anyone in the cafe that told you for sure it was a hit. But they obviously wanted to leave you wondering.

I can't believe I watched that show for six years for that.

And I know I wasn't the only one who thought my satellite or cable went out at the end.

When he arrived, Tony dropped a coin in the jukebox and played the classic Journey power ballad "Don't Stop Believing." Meanwhile, every moment seemed to foreshadow disaster: Suspicious-looking people coming in the door or seated at a table nearby. Meadow on the street having trouble parallel parking her car, the tires squealing against the curb. With every passing second, the audience was primed for tragedy. It was a scene both warm and fuzzy yet full of dread, setting every viewer's heart racing for no clear reason.
But nothing would happen. It was just a family gathering for dinner at a restaurant.
Then, with a jingle of the bell on the front door, Tony looked up, apparently seeing Meadow make her delayed entrance. Or could he have seen something awful -- something he certainly deserved -- about to come down?
Probably not. Almost certainly a false alarm. But we'll never know. With that, "The Sopranos" cut to black, leaving us enriched after eight years. And flustered. And fated to always wonder what happened next.

as much as i hated it, i was glad tony didn't get it.

How about that scene were Phil's head got rolled over, I love those kids throwing up when they saw it happen.

                          HOLY CRAP

Not a great ending, I don't know where it might head from here, a movie, another episode in a few years, maybe it doesn't mean anything at all! I think Snakelover nailed it on the head. It was set up for everyone to believe something was going to happen and then it nothing happened!

I too, believed my cable went out! I was pisssed!
