    Thats what I do on occassion. Works great at getting the twists out. I even do it with my baitcasting reels.

      Just take it to the Tacklebox in Victoria. They'll get it done right for ya!

        Put the line on the reel, if it twists on you try this. Without a lure/hook/weight start peeling off line into the water until you have about 30' of the line in the water. Now run the boat slowly with the bail of the reel open and let the water pull most of the line off of the reel. Close the bail and idle down the lake a couple hundred yards. Start reeling in your line and the twist will be gone

        If you don't fish out of a boat I don't know what to do
