Definitely a shark, look at it's tail fin. The brazos river has produced some good yellow cats thus far this year on drop lines. Haven't fished any lakes yet though...

I laughed really hard when he crawls out of the water like it owns the place and then one litle whack sends it running for its life hahaha what a switch.

yeah well he could have had it cause I sure as heck aint gonna fight with something that could eat me. The phrase "scream like a wet cat" comes to mind.

But, what the heck would a gator be doing in salt water?

It's not uncommon to see Gators in Saltwater. There's plenty around Matagorda.

Hunting first on selling your boat for a bow. At least you got your priorities straight!

You're exactly right. It's a Saltwater Crocodile and a shark in the Northern Territory of Australia. Here's a news link...

I thought I had heard an Australian accent, but it was hard to tell with the wind noise.

True Dat!! Several years ago, we had a group of guys fishing in Port O'Connor and were wade fishing by the ceder trees over on the bay side... my buddy caught a 7 foot gator on a gold Johnson Sprite... We took pics (old 35MM's), messed around with him for a while on the beach, then let him go... last time I saw him, he was swimming across that little cut by the cattle pens... 'course, there's all sorts of houses things over there now, but there was nothing there back then.

I realize it's in Australia, but for clarification purposes crocodiles do exist in the US...in fresh and salt water.
