I have had mine for 7 years, best watch I have ever owned, its been thru 7 duck and goose seasons and a whole bunch of offshore fishing trip's. It wont die, put 3 new velcro bands on it thoug. That saltwater kills the leather.
I have had a couple of them. The first one I bought lasted about 3 years and the 2nd watch about 2 years. I had the watch repair guy make one out of the 2 watches. The hybrid is still going strong. I would buy another one, I am pretty tuff on watches.
They make a lot of different models. I have the same one as the pic but with a black face.
I have a black plastic case like the one in your picture (mine has the blue dial),
and I have the solid stainless one. They also make it in solid titanium.
I use my black plastic one with a Tekna dive compass on the same watch strap as my outdoor sports watch - kayaking, hunting, etc..
I wear my stainless one as my every day watch (more dressy) and as my true dive watch.
They are the best watches I have ever owned. I bought the black one in '99 &the stainless one in 2000.
this is what my stainless model#3200 looks like
here's a model# 3600 titanium version - their best watch
Warning about buying Luminox on Amazon - you're not buying from Amazon, you're buying from someone using Amazon as a conduit. They generally aren't authorized reps, and thus you don't have a Luminox Warranty. You have to look pretty hard to find an authorized rep on the web.
The place I bought my first one from went under, and took my warranty with them. That being said, I bought another one (the titanium shown above).
Best watch you'll ever own. I've had a black one & a white one for over 10 years. You will go through the band way before the watch. That's a good buy msrp is $200.00
I have a 3015 and a 3204 and they are the best watches that I have ever owned. I would stray away from the velcro and get one with a rubber strap. They dont break and dont soak up sweat and other offensive oders. The price is good and you will love the watch whichever one you buy.
good point about the band - I'm not a fan of metal bands so I buy the good, thick, rubber bands made for scuba diving for mine. The replacement band I bought for my 3200 the other day, at the little watch counter in Fiesta in Houston was $12 it will proabaly last at least 2~3yrs
Mine had the metal band....no bueno...go rubber. Keeps great time but the date quit working on mine after a few years so for what they cost I haven't been overly impressed. Co-worker of mine has a couple of em that he's bought over the past 10 yrs or so and both of 'em have issues. We called about getting them fixed and they're proud of their repairs too! I guess I shouldn't compare it to my timex. They do look nice though!
timex who????? i have had one for 5 years wear it every day and it takes a beating.just got home from the Guadalupe river and it stayed in the water most of the time and still ticking and on leaks!!
