        Agree

Just another example of the trash we have out there these days.
I believe he should be allowed to do whatever necessary to protect himself against man or woman. You did not see one other person trying to help, they were all busy making a YouTube video. That's just pathetic!

          Amen Glenn....

Maybe we should be asking why all these fine individuals standing around filming ,chose to NOT help the officer? :rolleyes

Poor guy is gonna get trashed in the media and he and his family will suffer from it unjustly.

It's simple..... theres one officer, and several mouthy folks. With that many mouthy folks that situation could of got hostile real fast. The officer probaly reacted with human instinks, and not his training.
On a side note.......Thats not a puch, its called "an attention getter!"

Well I've had to punch a few folks over the years because that is what I had to use at the time. I have broke my right hand twice adn my left once. Face and head bones usually beat hand bones. I would have much rather been swinging a stick at the time but I didnt have time to get it out and in business. I really cant tell you haw many folks Ive punched but there isnt one officer that has not been trained to punch and kick.

If you get in an officers face when he is trying to arrest someone, then you are now about to get arrested. Resist and get taken to the ground.

...there is no way you have any right to get in an officers face that way...

She found out that she is not above the law, bullet proof, or special.

Sad that all the people in the back ground were on the girls side. Pathetic to say the least. Wish we could turn back the hands of time were people who needed to be punished got punished instead of getting rich from sueing over "injustice"

Ya, putting your hands on a cop is just about the dumbest thing someone can do, especially on behalf of a friend like you are some sort of WWF wrestler 'tagging in'. Whole lot of stupid in that video.

Just watched the video IMO - the officer was in a crowd and was dealing with 1 person resisting and 1 person who went from interfering to resisting - His force accomplished the goal of subduing that individual and getting him 1 step closer to resolving the issue, being safe and on his way.

Don't see a problem at all with it.

I do find it pathetic that folks hold police in such low regards that they think this officers actions were not warranted.

Force was justified. However a closed fist is deadly force to the head and may or may not have been justified. I'm sure there are two sides to the story. Just saying.....
