well im new to bows , and bow hunting , so any input or tips will help more than you would know

i dont have a lease this yr so a friend of mine said " hey , you can go with me this yr"

i was thinking that is great, well turns out its bow lease only, so i had to get a bow and well not knowing how things are going to go i didnt want to buy anything new that would drain the funds

any how picked up a mathews solocam icon bow for 260 bucks

extras include
fletcher primos release (.44 caliper
vdt fall away arrow rest
the site im not sure about has no markings on it

i was going to post pics but im not allowed !

thanks guys , not exp to do well this yr but any meat is better than no meat!

any how im going to get me a few things this weekend and get the bow set up for me and ill be target shooting for now ,

if this is half as adicting as rifle hunting i think im going to be in trouble ! lol

Hey Chip, welcome. I know there are folks on here from Angleton that would love to meet you at a local shop when they are going to be there and give you some help if you are ever looking for it.
I personally think you should expect a great year. It may not produce a wall hanger but you will have experiences beyond what you could have hoped for during gun season. The deer tend to be more relaxed and you'll see all kinds of stuff you never got to before. Congrats on joining the ranks.
