The best lease I have ever hunted came out of a feed store when I was buying range cubes. Most ranchers dont use Craigslist or any classifieds and the tack board is the only thing they need to use.
Is this a lease you are on or just thinking about? I am in the Magnolia area but am really trying to find one within an hour or so from the house to start taking my son to. Would like ot shoot some P&Y's or B&C's, but realize that is a little far fetched for the area. Would be content with a lease with a good deer population and lots of hogs. Any info or advice would help and be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Was there a price on the lease? Just wondering what most people pay for lease. Do you pay less for bow hunting. I had to fill one spot but just wondering what everyone typically pays.
I can't tell you what leases are going for in the area. We have been on our lease for over 30 years. Maybe even 40. My father has been on the lease for 30 plus years and my grandfather was there before him. Feed stores are a prime place to locate leases. I was just passing on info to those who are looking. The hill country is loaded with large acreage landowners. Some allow leases and some don't. Contact the numbers above and see what is available. It won't hurt.
