Gotta say I'm pleasantly surprised and impressed. Pretty much songs all about himself, golf, his ups and downs, etc..... But he can sing surprisingly well, and the songs are pretty good.

Thats long john's biggest problem, the golf, the show, the music, its always all about him.

I just listened to them all. I really enjoyed it.

I dont agree it is all about him... He wrote about his life.. the good the bad the ugly. Most has been ugly, but I got a good feel on his life and his struggles. That means his is a good song writer if you feel it..

Kinda what I was thinking. It'll give his haters more reason to hate him, I 'magine. But, warts and all, I've always liked him. I'm not a rabid fan, and I certainly disagree with a lot of his choices. But he's just a regular ol' likable guy. He reminds me of an uncle of mine, actually. Big heart, but never "together". Can't help but be ****** at him sometimes, but can't help but like him either.

He seems like a really cool guy. Got his first CD and got him to sign it for my grandma who loves to watch him play and listen to his music. One of my good friend's dad was really good friends with him growing up and played golf together. Anyways, he hooked us up at the Colonial, got us a suite to stay in downtown Ft. Worth. It was an awesome experience to say the least. Thanks for the info about the new CD!

His TV show sucked me in on the Golf Network (DVR & remote in hand).
Songs sounded pretty good while on there.

Mr. Daly really "smokes wit cigarettes", but is holding back on "fun to do bad things".
