For Everyone worried about floating the Rivers

Dont be!!!! Come on out and enjoy it as much as possible.

The businesses that rely on their summers to survive that weathered the storm can use all the help they can get. We Rocked Whitewater last night with the Band of Heathens and half the folks there just climbed out of the river

Pretty much you can float the river from below the Dam to the 1st crossing on River road in Sattler. Everything after that was hit pretty hard.
Also dont forget that there is still the Blanco. Not as easy as far as people to pick u up and drop u off but its still doeable with a couple folks.

So COME on out and help everyone out!!!!

Also the flow in New Braunfels is at 862cfs as of now but in sattler just below the dam its flowing at 122cfs. So at the Horseshoe I would guess roughly flow is at 225 to 275. Ideal floating conditions. Also the river is up just enough you wont be dragging your tail on every rock.

NUTS!! That would have been floating it Wednesday. I almost had to. The bad thing about being part of a Fire Dept and Swift Water Certified. I was on standby all day, they like using me for live bait. Thats a rush
