    Dog boarding

Anyone out there know of a inexpensive dog boarding service. Does not have to be fancy. They are just dogs. It would be for 2 friendly dobermanns for 3 nights while we go on a family vacation. I guess in the round rock austin georgetown area. Hell I can drive if it is affordable. Never done this before and boy is sure does seem to be pricey.

Boarding in my area ranges from $25 to $35 a night depending on the accomidations. You also need to make sure your pet is current on all their shots.

Yup, I just stepped into the realm of dog boarding recently. I'd say $25-$30 per night is about normal.

One thing to check is how often they get potty breaks, walks, play time, etc. It stinks when a dog has to sit in 4'x6' room for 12 hours at a time.

My wife and I just got back from ten days in Alaska and we boarded our dogs with Rachel Allenby in Liberty Hill. I would not have considered leaving mine with any body else. She has a great place and owns lots of bird dogs herself. She only boards six dogs at a time. They have huge runs and access to an air conditioned, enclosed building. I also know she can deal with any problems. I was mainly concerned with my Lacy not getting away and going home on her own. With her kennels I was not worried.

PM me if you want her number.
