Dilema: Which side of Kansas city

I may be taking an opportunity within the company to reside somewhere in the Kansas City area (for field service). Relative to quality bow hunting, should I reside on the east side in NW Missouri or on the Kansas side of the city?

I am not familiar with the regulations or hunting dates for either state. What is important to me is buck quality and length of season and so on.

If I can't feed in those states you might see my feeders in the classified section soon.

Based on what I have seen....Overland Park, Kansas is where I would raise my family, regardless of hunting opportunites.

My rule is wherever you live, live on the side closest to Texas.

Got me out of hurricanes in New Orleans cause I was on the west side,
You miss the blizzards in Colorado that come from the west,

you are that much closer when it's time to come home!

Live in Kansas, and Overland Park or Olathe is a good place to start looking. It may change, but if you live in MO, you have to get into the drawing for non-res in Kansas. If you live in Kansas, it's over the counter in MO.
You will find wonderful deer hunting in Kansas and Northern Mo, and no better turkey hunting than Mo.
