Randy, Prayers sent for your friend too, but the guy I posted about was in Sweetwater at Cape & Son and his name is Chance Furr. I guess we ought to just say a prayer for everybody working wheat harvest.

Dang rough day for westex folks. My buddy Casey Ellison was hurt today at the Merkel Elevator. Wild they are that close together and the same thing happened.

Suprised more of this stuff doesnt happen as the wheat harvest goes on with that old worn out equipment.

Man Taken To Hospital After Foot Severed

MERKEL -- Merkel Fire Department tells KTXS News a man's foot was severed in an grain elevator accident Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened around 2:00 p.m. and the unidentified man was taken to Hendrick Medical Center, according the Merkel Fire Department.
