I wonder if a armadiller moves fast enough to trigger a motion light? You could set on the couch and drink beer. When the light comes on you know its time to take care of bidness with Mr. Diller.

The poison is down and the holes are filled. I have the sprinkler running to water it in. I will posts pics if I get him.

Long handle dig net and tennis shoes will work. Of course the next question is what do you do then.

No bait for dillos.....live trapping with boards for funnel. This is what I do for a living and dillo season is here....I spend most of the summer catching them....Any questions on trapping just ask.

If you know where their hole is, get a 6-10' section of garden hose, a funnel that will fit in the hose, 2 cups, and a bottle of ammonia and a bottle of bleach. Shove the hose down the hole, at least half its length, put the funnel in the end, pour a cup of bleach down the hose, then pour a cup of ammonia down the hose. Remove the funnel and put thumb over hose, take a deep breath, keeping the hose away from your face, and then blow out the deep breath through the hose, forcing the gases into the hole. Remove the hose, fill in the hole, and you're done. If the hole is reopened the next day, repeat until you catch them in the hole.

The gas produced by the mix is chlorine gas, same stuff used on our troops in the Great War.

You just gave advice to gas and armadillo! Holy ****! I'm crying from laughing so hard. You must be that crazy guy in the neighborhood! I like your tactics! Although I do have to say it would be more fun, with the 22 & beer!

Glad we don't have those critters in WY! Good luck on eliminating the pesky critter.

I checked outside until midnight and had to go to bed. He got me last night for about 8 holes one of which is his biggest.

Mine hit the two hours before sun up. Put out a game camera and pattern him.
