Bowtech Admral vs Destroyer - Smoothness/Shock

I know that lots of folks are all about the Destroyer right now, but I'm interested to hear some opinions that DO NOT take speed into consideration.

Which bow is smoother and has the least hand shock. My Elite GT500 is fast enough for me, so I'm just thinking of getting something smooth, still , and quiet. I like the Admiral, but haven't ever shot the Destroyer.

Is there another bow in the last 2 years of Bowtechs that is better than these 2 when speed isn't considered?

IMO, get the destroyer and slow it down with heavier grain arrows. I have shot both and much prefer the Destroyer hands down.

You will find that both bows are extremely smooth and quiet. They just have different draw cycles and it seems that the destroyer is a little more harsh on the draw. So other than speed, most of the difference will be before the shot. I actually agree wth MC on this! OMG MC! Can you believe that? Cant we all just get along?

Take speed out of the equation, and only considering smoothness, the Admiral wins.

I had an Admiral and went and shot the destroyer and it had a noticable vibration that my Admiral did not.

Paul - If I hadn't moved so dang far away, I'd just come to your shop and ask you these questions. I miss coming down to visit for sure. Haven't found a shop around here that feels anything like Double G.
