    Homebrew Camera Gurus Needed

Has anyone every made a trail cam out of a Sony Cyber Shot 3.2? Is it possible?

I've made dozens of them and they are great cameras for a trailcam.

I'll second that opinion. Makes a great trailcam!

Now this is not a P32. Is the Cyber Shot as easy to build as the 380s?

I thought you were talking about the Sony Cybershot P32. I guess I'm not familiar with the camera you're talking about.

This one says DSC-P52 on the bottom. It does not have a flat front, but rather the entire lense section juts out about over 1/2 and inch.

I have made one out of the p-41, and it works great!! I know you can make them out of the p-32 and p52 as well. I would suggest that you check out hags house.com there are some prety helpful links and people on that website.

A p-52 will work fine as a game cam. It uses the same shutter assembly as a p-32 and is a easy hack. There are several boards that you could choose from that would work. I second going to Hagshouse and doing a search. You should find all the info you need.

I haven't tired the Sony Cybershot. This one has worked well for me and costs a lot less. Digital is so overrated!
