Anybody got any ideas on a turnkey hunting cabin?

I'm looking for a new hunting cabin. Preferably 12 x 24. I've found lots of outfits willing to build the shell, but no one that wants to deliver a turnkey design to East Texas. Anybody have any ideas?

We saw some really nice ones down in Concan -- call Beck's Camp Ground -- ask where they got them....

They had two, a log cabin style and a hardiplank sided one.

Hard to believe rolling homes or one of the house trailer places don't sell something like this.

The oilpatch bunkhouse with skids for 6 men and all you need is a water source and generator have been offered surplus in the Victoria paper on and off for the last 6 months. They are over $75l new and were going for ten thousand and up depending on condition, they has kitchens and bunkbeds and were inspected for fire alarm for the crews at one time, i dont have the number but i still see them from the bypass. The iron in the skids is super duty and you can move them anywhere a winch truck and trailer with a rolling tailboard can get into to drop or load, way better than wood and some have theif proofed windows and doors with hd guards. I bought one and its ready to go once you hook up a water source and generator and some new batteries in the fire alarm boxes.

Funny that you post that link....

That is one of my best friends companies.... The owner is Shaun LaRue, I played baseball with him in college.

Give him a call and he will build whatever you want, tell him that Damon sent ya!!!

I've always wondered why nobody sells a kit to convert a shipping container into living quarters.......

One big box with everything you need to make a 40' conex into a camp house. The only problem would be cutting out windows, not everybody could do that......

More work than you are wanting I guess.

There is a place in Bandera, Tx. that builds small cabins. If you are close to there you could look them up.
