I have also used the blue and white river tubes from academy. We have used them for 3 years and havn't had one get a leak yet. We float the Frio and ya know it's float,walk and drag your tube. I have a number of old truck tubes that no longer get used, because we like the others so much. The new tubes are easier to inflate and deflate ---- you won't be sorry.

My opinion is that (IF YOUR GOING TO BE TUBING EVERY YEAR) go to a tire dealer and purchase good tire tubes instead of the cheap tubes from sporting goods stores. We have had a plastic container full of Tire tubes ever since I can remember for our annual Frio Trips and have never had to worry about holes being in them when we got them out the next year. If you are just going for a summer and don't know if your going to go back anytime soon I would just get the cheap one from the sporting goods stores or rent
