    Braunig Lake Question

Pat or anybody else that fishes there regular have a question. I know the gates close at 8pm however can you still be out on the lake after 8pm for some night fishing? I don't remember if the exit gate with spikes had an actual gate. Me dad and brothers are thinking about going down there fathers day weekend for some fishing. They want to do some night fishing and I should have my boat lites on by then as well.

last time i was there they only had the exit gate with spikes set up. I'd imaging you would be able to leave when you wanted to. Goodluck.. I heard largemouth are really good at Calaveras right now and the redfish activity is starting to pick up.

Brandon, sorry for the delayed response, I have been running charters in this heat and coming home to a tall glass of tea and a reclining chair and not paying much attention to the board.
As stated above, Brauning and Cally close the "in" gate at night, but leave the "out" gate open with no-entry spikes.
Holler at me and I will tell you where to anchor up and catch those reds at night with live bait.
