    For sufferers of migraine headaches

My wife sent me this article. I get them from time to time and think that they could be stress related.

If I would have had migraines in my 20's and early 30's, I might have believed mine were due to stress... since about 35 I know for a fact I have become alot more mellow and less stressed(stuff just doesn't matter any more)

Reminds me of something I read...

"As I grew older, I thought I had finally come to mellow out....turns out, I simply no longer give a rip."

I have run the whole gambit of trying to figure out what causes mine, and have yet to pin it down to any one thing...all I know for sure is Imitrex is one of the greatest drugs ever produced.

"Experts are not sure why the relationship exists, and it is not yet known whether the migraines themselves directly lead to strokes in some people."

Some of the migraines can be related to Allergies (sinus cavities inflaming causing the same thing)

I used to get migraines when I was 8-14 or somewhere around there and i went to several Doctors about it. It had alot to do with my poor nutrition and what I was eating. Cheese triggered my headaches alot of the time. Now 24, I eat alot better and I never get headaches unless I am hungover sometimes lol.

Food and Stress have alot to do with it.

I grew up with what the Dr. called "Allergic Migraine" - Chocolate would trigger mine.

I do not get them as bad as I did growing up, but when I do they are a killer. I am having sinus surgery in July to hopefully help with a lot of my headache issues.
