Even though most employers will let you go at the drop of a hat, they still expect you to give them two weeks notice. This morning, our business development manager gave notice. An hour later, she came by my office and said "they" just told her to leave, now!
What gives?
Do you give two weeks and risk them running you off that day and being out two weeks pay?
Maybe give one week notice to cut the risk in half, and explain your concern?
Or just quit?
