TBH Softball Live Play!

As a late arrival to the team (certainly it has NOTHING to do with my fielding/throwing ability) I'm the designated hitter/bench warmer today for the big game! As such, it leaves me plenty of time to update!

We're off to a rocky start as we get a feel for the game again. But, I think we have this defense thing figured out after one time through the order. Updates forthcoming!

Eric singled in Keegan before Joe grounded out to end the inning. That means El Capitan leads off the next inning.

Well, we ran out of time on the short end (not a Cody joke ) of an 8-5 score. I got called into emergency duty in left center. Though fully capable, they wouldn't let me take my phone into the field to update while making that crucial final defensive out!

In celebration of being one of only a coupla forty-somethings, I took the field sporting a throwback uni (well, at least the ballcap is a relic!)
