Not looking good! Blood for 40 yds then found 1/2 my arrow! This place is so thick you like them to go 40 tops. Pressing on....

Got too dark in these thick woods. I got the live part down good, just not the killing part. Shot looked decent. I was worried about the arrows penetration when I watched her run off, but could have swore I heard her go down. Almost quartering to me,hit in back 1/3 of shoulder. Shot was a tad high, but I figured since she was less than 20 yards and I was 16' up that it should have worked. Although I hate to lose any game, there were about 20 there when I shot. Plent shot opportunities for the feeder. Remember, this feeder has been going exactly one week!! I'll give a few days rest from tromping around and start Round 2! There is a black boar that was there all last year and I'm after his arse!! Hes still there somewhere!
