yes, it's on the NY Times bestseller list

the link at the top of my post goes to the listing on Amazon.com

Junger was on Charlie Rose the other night - how I found out about it

I checked it out of the Bellaire public library
it may be in your local library if you check

it is so "dead on" about the attitudes of grunts in combat !!!
how we treat, interact with each other
and how we feel about the rest of the world who have never been a grunt in combat

It was a great read! I just finished it last night.

There's no politics in this book. It takes place in the Korengal Valley in Afganistan, the same place that Marcus Luttrell and his Seal team were pinned down.

I can't wait to see Restrepo. Right now the website doesn't list a showing in DFW.

Pretty ballsy reporting by Junger and the photographer to be that close to constant action for that period of time.....without ever picking up a weapon.

This says it's scheduled for general release on July 2 and that the National Geographic Channel will be broadcasting it in the fall.
I read about Junger in Newsweek and heard him interviewed on NPR - I will definitely read this one.
