Best way to keep crawfish alive over-night?

What is the best way to keep crawfish alive over night? I am picking some up this afternoon and will be cooking them tomorrow around 2 or 3.

    Thanks

Im no expert, but I would say keep them in a cool place and drape a wet towel over the sack and spray em down every now and then.

Just put them on ice (or in a refrigerator if you have room). They will be fine.

Under your carport with wet towels or burlap sacks over them will keep them alive for 2 days.

Do this but keep them in a cooler with a little layer of ice on top of the burlap. I just picked up a couple of sacks myself and this is how we always keep them alive.

Make sure you leave the plug open on the cooler to let the water drain out.

              Boil them...

Seriously, we used to keep them alive for weeks after catching them in a ditch. All it takes is water and stay out of the heat. They are fairly resilient creatures.

Put them in a cooler with a towel over them and cover the towel with ice, open the drain in the cooler. Seen them kept as long as a week like this

Keep them sacked up until you're ready to wash them. Under burlap, in a cool place with ice on them and where the stray cats can't get at them. Don't let them lay in water. They'll keep for several days this way.

On ice, not covered in ice, but on ice and cool.
