    Heading to the ranch

On sunday. Got plans with the Mrs on Sat, but Sun and Mon are reserved for topping off the protein feeder and putting up a new protein feeder in the water pen and filling it up.

Also gonna attach some carpet strips to the legs to see if we can deter some of the coons...if only a little...it should at least slow em down or pizz em off some.

Don't even waste your time with the tack strip... They just use it for traction..... Speaking from ecperience....

so what's good for keeping coons off feeder legs...axle grease? My buddy said a guy told him he pit strips on his legs and there were little bloody footprints all around. I mean besides laying around at midnight with the AR and an 18 pack and blasting them all night long

DING DING DING! We have a winner. The pipe gets em' every time. Just make sure it's long enough they can't jump onto the leg above it. Two years ago I tried the tack strips and constantly watched coons climb over it like it was nothing.

I built cages for mine that are not winch up... Just make the cage round and the same diameter of the barrel and the problem is solved...
