AK47 Question

Ok, So I'm seeing that some are automatic. Are most automatic? And do you have to have a special license to own a fully auto, or semi auto?

Almost all are semi. For a full auto you'll need a form 4 stamp and 200.00 cash money and either LEO or Trust setup. Full auto AK's are going for around 12-15,000 bucks. All full auto anything must have been made prior to 1986 as there is a defacto ban on all full auto or burst auto weapons after that.

The recent issue of Shooting Times has an interesting article on AKs. Might want to read that before buying one. Seems some AKs are not what they seem to be.

I had a romanian. it would jam when i would go off on it. people said it was because of the rounds. i was using wolf

Had a Mac 90 and it shot every thing through it. Sold it to get my AR, and if I ever come across another one i would buy it with a drop of a dime.
