    Sunsets...

So, I planned a trip to Fredericksburg in a couple of weeks for my girlfriend and me. I am planning to propose and wondered if any of you have any suggestions for a nice place around to go to watch the sunset? What better way to propose than sunset in the Texas Hill Country? Doesn't hurt that it's in the middle of deer hunting paradise either

Send me some thoughts...I appreciate it!

Might be cool to climb to the top of Enchanted Rock and do it!

You know, I had actually thought about that...just not sure how late the park stays open and if they allow people on the rock that late...might call and check. Thanks for the idea!

Seems like it closed late enough you could pull it off. Call them and ask. I think it would be a great place to do it! Propose, that is.

Cross Mountain on the north edge of town would offer a nice view of the city and the sunset. Not as spectacular a view as enchanted rock but also a lot closer to town, a lot less of a climb, more/better traveled, etc for coming down in the late evening.

The dam at Canyon Lake. It worked one V-Day for me.

I'd sober-up, and rethink the whole idea

If a spectacular sunset is what your looking for go through the hill country (no insult intended) but far West Texas is the place to view sunrise/sunset.

To save on money have some more people post sun set pics, and stay at home and do a slide show for the Lucky Lady!!
