I've been usin it to control pond scum(algae,moss,etc) for yrs. Now I can't find it. The stores I used to get it from say they cant find it. I cant find where it has been banned. It's made by DuPont. Anybody know why? or where to get some? thanks

I got one better for you we use it as a winter preemergent in our cotton fields too. LOL

I don't believe its labeled for use in ponds Billy so if your using your license to buy it you might want to have Devin pull this thread. But there may or may not be another chemical thats the same thing just under another name of Diuron.

Have you thought about using copper sulfate?

I have bought it over the counter for yrs,Jason. If I cant find any soon I'll have to try Cu.
