Los CuCos Seafood Restaurant in Katy!

Wanted to give all you Katy and surrounding area folks a heads up. Los CuCos has reopened their sea food restaurant here in old Katy. A buddy of mine had eaten there several times before they closed down. Most importantly they have $1.59 MARGARITAS today!!!!

Be careful at the one in Wharton. Last time I ate there I had a roach crawl across my plate!

I saw that today too Bruce. I hope they can finally get something in there that will work. It used to be Jill's (awesome food) and then a Spanish restaurant that was pretty good. We ate there at the first attempt to open the Cucos Seafood and it was just OK. Service was not good....typical of Cucos though.

$1.59 'ritas will make everything right with the world!! I hope it makes it!

I had always had pretty good service at the Los CuCos at Katy Mills Mall. I may slam a couple of ritas and as you said, "all will be right with the world." Of course after a couple of ritas I will let momma drive or all could be wrong with my world.

LOS CUCOS the mexican joint is amazing...nothing like there los cucos fajitas with queso

Ritas were great, wifes seafood was great, my steak was ok. In other words, dont get the steak. It had a great taste but was not the best cut of meat.

We never go the the mall location....always go to the original next to Midway. Service is fair but the food rocks!

The LC here is the worst restaurant in town. Everything I've gotten tasted and looked like it had been in the microwave for 15 minutes then under a heat lamp for another 10 minutes-Won't be going back.

Food seems to vary between locations and how recently INS had been there. The one in Old Katy is the best foodwise.


Where is the seafood one? I need to hit LC next time I am back in Katy.

Across 90 from the LC in old town Katy. It is at Ave D and 90.

The best Los Cucos (and I have tried all 3)

is the one in Palacios, TX. Right on Hwy 35 on the East side of town. Order the "Pollo Del Mar"! Grilled chicken breast with shrimp, crab, & fish stuffed inside, & covered with cheese.
