According to the guys Over at TFF the stripers are on fire right. Seems like they are catching them on humps drifting shad. Look for the birds. Brett C might chime in his next door neighbor is a guide there.

You should hit em good about that time especially the cats. If you need a place to stay, my dad owns a lodge on Fork (<20 mins away). www.lakeforklodge.com

We already have some rooms & cabins reserved in a while back, we may try Fork for the next trip. Thx for the heads up, I’ll keep in mind.

We put up 83 quarts of catfish fillets on a 15 person 3 day trip at Tawakoni this weekend. Whites and hybrids were biting in some places, but we were mostly catfishing shallow. LOTS of boats out fishing humps and long points though, likely something good is going on.

Everyone says to fish the willows for catfish right now. Where are the willows in that lake? I have only been on the lake a couple of times and dont know much about the lake.

Also, when the channels are spawning the dam is a good place. Does anyone know if the are on the rocks yet?
