Tell me is this is a weird/bad idea

I have a spot to hunt in some woods and I cleared out a nice little area a few months ago and I have established a food plot in there now with a feeder. Im have a pretty big cedar tree that branches out into a big fork that is about 19-20 yards from my feeder. I thought about building a platform stand, but I also thought about building a platform and then putting my pop up blind up on top of it and sitting inside. Its plenty big for me to do this, but is this a bad idea?

I know some people that do that... It is basically a bowhuntable tower stand

I would probably fall asleep, lean against the side of the pop up and tumble right out on my head

      But that's just me.......

I'm 6'5" and a little old and creaky so getting into a popup sitting on the ground is hard enough.

I'm not sure I would want to try it 10' off the ground on a narrow platform.

if you are going to go to the trouble of building a scaffold, platform, and ladder why not just box it in as a permanent bow blind with a real door and keep your popup as a portable stand that you can move around?

I would want solid wall for the same reason AFD said, but then I'm the guy that if anything bad was gonna happen it would happen to

Why not just put a game tamer up

I would cut a hole in the cedar and put a tripod up behind it brushed in real well and save the popup for another sport. DISCLAIMER: THIS IS ASSUMING THE CEDAR IS DOWNWIND OF THE FEEDER!
