I live a good portion of my life in Fla. and smoked pork is one of the things I miss most. A lot of folks on this side of the Sabine don't get to participate in the joys of a pork butt often enough, with beef (brisket) being BBQ of choice over here.

Don't know where you have been.....we eat plenty of pork.....brisket is just better but harder to get RIGHT.
How much do you like it? Hold the heat well? How many times did you have to add to the fire during the smoke? I am looking for a new pit and figured I would see how you liked this one.

So far I love it.
Ive only hade it for about 3 monts I resqued it from and old Air force Master Sgt from TX he got it in 88 .
It neaded a good sand blasting and painting looks good if not better than new.
I only add one piece of wood every 2 hrs to keep temp @ 225deg
It leaks a little more than I would like but hell you would to if you were a 22 year old smoker.
Over all she is great and plenty of room.
