Kayak Question

Anyone have any info on the ascend kayaks sold at Bass Pro? Wanting to use for a little fishing and a river trip on the San Marcos. Also, what are some good kayak forums?

They are right tkf will help you.And the reviews on the ascends are pretty good

Ascends are solid kayaks. But a little pricey. I would rent to make sure I liked it enough to buy. And if you decide to buy then I would prioritize what you needed from the kayak. If you are really gonna fish from it quite a bit then I would look into the fishing specific kayaks. They can handle most rivers around here and up to big class II or small class III rivers. Any rivers bigger than that and you would need a whole different type of kayak.
