I have about three of these that hang out around our bird feeders, I'm assuming they are waiting on some smaller birds to come eat.

I think Shane may be the winner, just looked it up and the pics look really similar. I couldn't get a good one but they have a dark line under their eyes. They also prey on small birds so that would make alot of sense to be frequenting our feeders. Pretty cool no matter what it is.

Looks like a Mississippi Kite.Two of them stay in a tree right by my house quite a bit.I've always heard they'll swoop at ya but I've never had that happen before.

I'd name him Mike, unless it's a female then I'd name her Mikeala

Once they build a nest they will be territorial and may dive bomb you if you come to close. Awesome birds though!

Saw 2 Black Shouldered Kites in the Fort Worth area last week migrating through. Very cool birds.
