    They were all over the golf course I used to work at and I shot a lot of em with my pellet gun. I let most of the snakes go that werent poisonous.

              Definitly diamond back watersnake, they are some pissy SOBs and they will put a nice musky odor all over you if they get mad.

                        I almost cra**ed my pants when I readed copperhead.. I saw one just like that when I was out fishing ZZ and the kids last Tuesday and I told them not to worry about it because it was not to worry! Watersnake x5

                            Definately a diamond back water snake. Caught many of them in my day of snake collecting. They have a very bad disposition and stink as well. When alarmed they flattend out heads take on the diamond shape and fool some folks into thinking cotton mouth.

                              You gotta give em credit.......they hardly weigh anything, only have a head and a body........but will make 200lb grown men run for cover all day long!

                                Anybody that night fished for crappie in the brush or run trotlines with live bait has all kinds of stories. They seem to like to get in the boat with you! Had a brother-in-law pick up a trotline staging under the water which had one hooked in the mouth. Wrapped around his arm which caused quite a disturbance in the boat.
